HONOR BAND
Lewis and Clark Conference

Bloomfield High School hosted the Lewis and Clark Conference Instrumental Clinic at Wayne State College on Saturday, January 19th. Fourteen of the sixteen schools in the conference participated in this event. Bloomfield was represented by Emma Wagner, Hannah Seagren, Ali Gieselman, Mary Lingenfelter, Mickey Doerr, Zak Kay, Sarah Oltjenbruns, Darrin Roeber and Isaac Mertens.
The students were divided, by grade, into two bands and each worked on four selections with special guest clinicians. A public performance was given at the end of the day.
Brad Weber of Wayne High School conducted the 9-10 Honor Band and Brady Rohlfs of Lincoln Northeast High School conducted the 11-12 group.
Students also auditioned for chair placement and medals. Ali Gieselman and Mickey Doerr won 2nd chair medals and Mary Lingenfelter, Sarah Oltjenbruns and Isaac Mertens were awarded 1st chair medals.
