A Bear-y Merry Holiday
by Mrs. Bertschinger
December 02, 2009
A Bear-y Merry
Holiday will be presented
by the K-3 grades on Thursday, December 10 at 2pm and again at
7:30pm. The Polar Bears are throwing a bear-y big holiday
celebration at the North Pole and their guests from around the word
are starting to arrive....black bears and brown bears, rapping
grizzlies, pirouetting dancing bears, teddy bears, Kodiaks from
nearby Alaska, and more! But what is taking the Pandas so
long? The wait is becoming un-bear-able! Join in the
festive panda-monium when the bear-y small Pandas finally arrive in
true vaudeville style and the party begins! This is a winter
musical for young singer written by John Jacobson and John
Higgins.
The 4-6 grades are presenting Santa's Holiday
Playlist, a musical for
young voices by John Jacobson and Roger Emerson. When Santa's
favorite Christmas album is ruined, the North Pole gang decides to
introduce Santa to their music with the help of iPod's, playlists,
headsets, and docking stations! The elves are enjoying their
Motown tunes, while the reindeer kick up their country western
heels. Crystal Snowflake is heading for Broadway and the toy
soldiers are a-rockin' and a-rollin. Join in the holiday
hi-tech fun and discover what ends up on Santa's holiday
playlist! See You on the 10th of
December.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM MRS. B
