New Math Grading Guidelines

ATTENTION PARENTS AND MATH STUDENTS:
Mr. Wilken has made several changes to his Math classes' grading systems.
MATH 7 & MATH 8- NO more retaking quizzes or tests. Grades will be taken on notes. One note grade will be taken every 3-6 periods.
You will receive a 100%--if notes are taken just as written on the board.
You will receive a 90%--if notes are almost taken verbatim from the board.
You will receive a 70%--if most of the notes are taken verbatim from the board.
You will receive a 0%--if you notes are not complete or not with the student in class.
ALGEBRA II--NO more retaking quizzes or tests. A grade will be given on each section over daily work while a quiz on the section is being taken.
You will receive a 100%--if 90% + of the problems are done and work is shown.
You will receive a 90%--if 80 % of the problems are done and work is shown.
You will receive a 70%--if 70% of the problems are done and work is shown.
You will receive a 0%--if less than 70% of the problems are done and no work shown.
BUSINESS MATH-N0 retaking tests or quizzes.
TRIG- WILL be allowed to retake test and quizzes.
ALGEBRA I- NO retaking tests or quizzes.
GEOMETRY-NO retaking tests or quizzes.
