This contest combines all of the knowledge and skills to operated a equipment effectively and is a great experience for all participants.
Eighteen students from five area schools participated in the contest. Kash Poppe was the winner of the contest scoring the highest in four events and second highest in two events. Other Bloomfield participants were Ty Alexander placing fourth and receiving a blue ribbon, Trent Johnson received a blue ribbon and scored the highest on the safety and maintenance exam, while Kane Fiedler and Dustin Poppe each received red ribbons.
The district FFA chapters wish to thank Northeast Equipment for providing the tractors used in the contest and setting up the parts identification table. They also provided rolls in the morning and lunch at noon. Their support is greatly appreciated.
