
Students in Mr. Kuchar’s Economics Class are being taught Financial Literacy Concepts that they can use in their everyday life. On Thursday’s, Mrs. Runyon the Business/Technology teacher, facilitates the Personal Finance/Financial Literacy lessons. Bank of Hartington sponsors an online curriculum called Everfi “that that teaches students how to make wise financial decisions to promote financial well-being over their lifetime. The students are tested at the end of each module and when they have passed all seven modules, they receive certification by Everfi in Financial Literacy. The seven modules are: Banking Basics, Income & Employment, Budgeting, Consumer Skills, Credit & Debt, Financing Higher Education, and Insurance. Congratulations to these students and thank you to Bank of Hartington for supporting this program!


Bloomfield letter jackets are being offered. They come with leather, vinyl or wool sleeves. There are several options offered at additional prices. If there are 6 or more orders, $30.00 will be taken off your jacket. Deadline to order is Wednesday, December 18 at noon.

Second semester laptop rent is due on Wednesday, December 18 by 1:00 PM. If you fail to pay by that time your laptop will need to stay in school until it is paid.

The semester test schedule is posted on the bulletin boards. Dismissal for both days will be at 2:45 PM.

The junior high girls /boys basketball teams will depart on Monday at 12:45 PM.

The girls and boys basketball teams will host Niobrara-Verdigre on Saturday. The girls and boys junior varsity will play two quarters. The girls junior varsity game will begin at 3:00 PM.

The wrestlers will travel to Battle Creek on Saturday. The team will depart at 6:35 AM. Meet time is 9:00 AM.

The basketball teams will travel to Winside today. The team is to be dismissed at 2:35 PM and depart at 2:45 PM today. Both the girls and boys junior varsity will be playing only two quarters. The girls junior varsity game will begin at 4:30 PM.

Reminder, Friday is Pajama Day at the Elementary School

This is just a reminder that there is an Elementary Holiday Program tonight in the High School Auditorium at 7:00pm. Elementary students need to be at the school by 6:30pm .
