At a time when our district continues to face financial challenges, Superintendent Strom has made the decision to stay on for another year while taking a $40,000 pay cut. This choice reflects a commitment to our students, staff, and community, and shows a willingness to lead by example during difficult times. Decisions like this speak volumes about putting the district first. We're ecstatic to have him onboard another year with the Hive! 🐝 Read the full story in this week’s Knox County News.

Colorful Chuck-A-Duck Fundraiser poster for the Bloomfield Senior Class Post-Prom. Features rubber ducks, water splashes, a target, and a $100 bill graphic. Text highlights a chance to win $100 cash, duck prices of $5 for one or $10 for three, and notes the event is fun for all ages and supports a safe post-prom celebration. Event details list January 23 during Boys Varsity Halftime at Bloomfield High School, with a thank-you message for supporting the Class of 2026.
Bright blue and yellow Chuck-A-Duck rules poster with cartoon rubber ducks and water splashes. The poster explains how to play the Chuck-A-Duck fundraiser: ducks cost $5 for one or $10 for three, participants write their name to match their duck number, and throw ducks from the basketball court sideline at halftime. The goal is to land closest to an X in a baby pool at center court. The closest duck wins $100, with re-throws used to break ties. The poster notes ducks will be reused for future fundraisers and thanks supporters.
