Congratulations to the girls cross country team for being class D state runner-ups. Christina Martinson medaled in 9th place while Darla Nelson medaled in 14th. Others competing were Hannah Hubers in 42nd, Madie Ziegler 65th and Ann Woockman in 71st.
In the boy's division, Addison Smith finished in 24th place and Cory Martinson placed 87th.

We will be offering a fan bus to go to the State Cross Country Meet in Kearney on Friday, October 25th. The cost will be $5/per person for the bus. The bus will leave at 8:00 AM from Bloomfield. This should give enough time for a rest stop and time to stop and eat prior to the girls race at 2:00/boys at 3:00 PM. Anyone going will also need to bring money for lunch and admission for the meet ($5 for a student and $7 for an adult). Any students under 7th grade must be accompanied by supervision. Please call the Bloomfield High School to reserve a seat. We will need to have a minimum of 24 passengers for us to go. Deadline to sign up is 3:30 PM today.
Good Samaritan Center is hosting a tailgate tonight starting at 5:30 PM. Chili or chicken soup and cinnamon rolls will be served. It will be held at the church fairstand.
Teammates have the concession stand starting at 6:15 PM tonight.
The football team will host Hartington/Newcastle tonight at 7:00 PM. This is Parents Night for the football players and cheerleaders. Parents will be introduced at 6:30 PM.
The state bound cross country team members will depart today at 1:00 PM. There will be a “send off” pep rally right after lunch.
Progress reports will be distributed today. Please take them home to your parents. The 8th graders and freshmen progress reports will be mailed home along with their Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment Report.
