The Bloomfield/Wausa golf team competed at the Osmond Invitational Golf Tournament on Thursday, April 18. On a cold & breezy day, the team met the challenges of the course and mother nature head on. After one round of play, B/W had a one stroke lead on Boyd County and 4 strokes on Clearwater-Orchard. The boys battled to the end, but ended up falling short of the victory. The Bloomfield/Wausa golf team finished with runner-up honors in the team standings. The team shot a total score of 376, which was edged out by Clearwater-Orchard's score of 373. Individually, Jon Nissen placed 9th with a score of 97. Derek Gillilan shot an 89, which placed him in 5th. Mitchell Mackeprang shot a front nine score of 46 and improved to a 41 on the back nine for a total of 87. Mitchell finished in third place.

There will be a golf meet at Plainview on Monday starting at 8:30 AM. The team will depart at 7:00 AM.
The golf team will travel to RHCC for the Osmond Invitational Meet. The team is to be dismissed at 8:15 AM. Meet time is 9:00 AM.
The junior high track teams will travel to Creighton today for their relay meet. The teams are to be dismissed at 11:20 AM and will depart at 11:30 AM. Meet time is 1:00 PM.
The high school track team will travel to Pierce today for the Wausa Invitational Track Meet. Meet time is 9:30 AM. The running events have been changed to begin at 12:00 PM instead of 2:00 PM.
School will be dismissed on Thursday at 2:00 PM. The 2:00 PM dismissal schedule will be followed. No students will stay for extra help. Also no school Good Friday and Easter Monday. Enjoy your break!
