Congratulations to the girls and boys track and field squads for their 3rd and 6th place finishes in yesterday's Wildcat invite. Medaling in the top 3 were: Trenton Holz 1st in 100, Adam Johnson 2nd in 200, and the 4X100 relay team of Braden Eisenhauer, Trenton Holz, Adam Johnson, and Dade Davis 1st. For the girls it was: Brooklyn Eisenhauer 2nd in discus, Bree Eisenhauer 1st in 3200, 2nd in 800, Alexandra Eisenhauer 2nd in HH, 1st in 300 LH, Lauren Pinkelman 2nd in 400, Michaela Johnson 1st in PV, Ella McFarland 3rd in 3200, and the 4X400 relay team of Lauren Pinkelman, Ella McFarland, Alexandra Eisenhauer, and Bree Eisenhauer 1st.
The Bloomfield/Wausa golf team traveled to Highland Oaks golf course in Ponca on Monday, April 15. It was a beautiful day to golf. After the completion of 18 holes, the team earned a runner-up finish to Lutheran High Northeast. Bloomfield/Wausa shot a team score of 375 to LHNE's score of 369. Individually, Mitchell Mackeprang earned a 3rd place finish shooting an 85 and Derek Gillilan earned a 5th place finish with an 86. Other members golfing were Jon Nissen (98), Michael Vanness (106), & Will Hagge (115). The boys competed extremely well for competing in their first invite of the season. The team's next action is Thursday at Rolling Hills Country Club in the Osmond Invite and then Monday in a make-up of the Plainview Invite
There will be a FFA meeting Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
The 7th and 8th graders will be taking the NSCAS ELA test Tuesday during periods 1 and 2. Please report to your first period class for lunch count and attendance. The 7th graders are to report to Ms Making’s room and the 8th graders to Mrs. Knox’s room.
The students attending the Anatomy field trip will depart Tuesday at 7:30 AM.
All juniors are to report to the old gym after school today to help take down the Prom decorations.
The high school track team will travel to Hartington today for their meet. The team is to be dismissed at 11:20 AM and depart at 11:30 AM. Meet time is 1:00 PM.
The junior high track team will travel to Ponca today for their meet. The team is to be dismissed at 9:35 AM and depart at 9:45 AM. Meet time is 12:00 PM.
The golf team will travel to Ponca today. The team will be dismissed at 8:50 AM and depart at 9:00 AM. Meet time is 11:30 AM. They will return around 7:00 PM.
Coming home with some hardware is Logan Doerr receiving a GOLD medal and earning his way into the TOP 8 in Ag Literacy Speaking with his speech titled "What's the beef"
Another proud recipient of a medal is Marissa Bruce receiving silver in her People In Ag Poster covering 8 careers in the agriculture industry.

Order of Events-Pierce/Wausa Track Invitational 4-18-18

Freshmen dues ($40.00) are due Friday. These need to be paid in order to check out of school in May.
The junior high track team will depart Thursday at 12:30 PM. You will be dismissed at noon to eat lunch.
Grades 10-12 English students will depart Thursday at 9:00 AM to go to the play at Mount Marty College.
The O’Neill Invitational Track has been canceled on Thursday. Bloomfield will not be attending the rescheduled meet April 16.
On Monday April 8 and Tuesday April 9, the Bloomfield FCCLA chapter competed in STAR at the Nebraska FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Lincoln. Thirty-one members made the trip to compete against 9 other schools. Bloomfield did an outstanding job with twenty-seven competing. Results are as follows:
