📱 Digital Citizenship Assembly
Today, Superintendent Strom met with students and staff to share an important message about digital citizenship — reminding everyone to think of yourself and others before posting.
In a world where social media is a part of daily life, it’s crucial to pause and ask:
“Is what I’m sharing positive, respectful, and something I’d be proud to stand behind?”
The assembly emphasized that personal safety and the wellbeing of others must always come first — both online and in person. If you ever see something concerning, say something to a school official or another respected adult in the community.
This message applies to all of us — students and staff alike — as we work together to build a positive, supportive environment that reflects the values of Bloomfield Schools.
Mr. Strom also discussed the excitement surrounding the upcoming football playoff game and state cross country, highlighting teamwork, sportsmanship, and safe travel for our student-athletes as they represent the Bees on a big stage.
A fan bus is available to the public, staff, and students going to Sutton and will leave the high school at 1pm on Thursday.
Let’s continue to show what it means to be a Bee — proud, respectful, and mindful — both online and in person. 💛🐝💙
